The Senior Associate, Insights & Strategy, will champion a people-first approach to unearth actionable insights for a major pharmaceutical client. The Senior Associate is a key contributor, connected and supported by Insights & Strategy leadership and embedded on the client team, collaborating with more senior contributors and peers across disciplines. This hybrid role provides the opportunity to grow skills through data-driven storytelling and the development of actionable client implications. The successful candidate is a curious, creative and collaborative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Analyze and connect the dots between diverse and disparate data sets to derive meaningful insights Develop research hypotheses, construct research plan/methodology and conduct research (syndicated, secondary, social listening, qualitative and quantitative custom research) to solve clients’ burning questions Develop and present client-ready insight presentations inclusive of data visualization and storytelling Evaluate innovative data partners to develop new approaches to uncovering insights Work in partnership with client research and internal strategy and analytics teams; have deep knowledge of client’s business goals and challenges Incorporate the fundamental principles of Starcom’s inclusive marketing philosophy and planning approach Define most valuable audience segments for clients using syndicated data Mine research tools and ensure accuracy in the use and application of data Build compelling personas that bring key audience segments to life Partner with Planning and Investment teams on media sufficiency analysis to understand the media spend needed to meet client and audience-specific goals Monitor cultural, category and audience-specific trends to educate internal teams, partner agencies and clients - translating trends into strategic opportunities and implications Qualifications 0-2 years in media/marketing research, consumer insight, business consulting, or digital advertising research Experience with quantitative or qualitative research Some experience working with large data sets to create insights Familiarity with syndicated and customer data environments Knowledge of statistical software packages and coding languages (eg SAS, SPSS, R, Python) a plus Proficiency in Tableau, GoodData, Datorama, SQL a plus Strong communication skills both written and verbal Competency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel Additional Information Starcom is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Compensation

Range: $53,200 - $70,560 annually. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
