What You’ll Do Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting; develop succession plans by training and developing your team Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment for employees to collaborate and recognize performance to increase engagement Grow leaders through direction, delegation, and investing in their development Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor by leading and directing the Leader on Duty program Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits Build customer loyalty by guiding the team on the benefits of customer participation in our Loyalty programs, including credit Execute Company direction on merchandising and operations; manage payroll and budgets Understand and analyze KPIs to identify behaviors that drive results Lead and integrate an omnichannel experience with trained teams on available tools Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls Qualities We’d Love In a Candidate A positive and solutions-oriented mindset Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, including leading, directing, and handling multiple tasks Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.) Minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports A high school diploma or GED You Can Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling Stand or walk for extended periods; climb ladders as needed Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of two closing shifts per week Carter’s For All Carter\'s is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
