Maintenance Director , we have the opportunity for you. As the
Maintenance Director , you will be responsible for ensuring that the building, equipment, and utilities are maintained in accordance with the facility policies and local, state, and federal regulations. You will be part of a team focused on providing superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services that meet the needs of our patients and residents. Responsibilities
Performs functions to facilitate a safe, comfortable, attractive, and well-maintained environment. Follows preventative maintenance programs for major equipment (e.g., HVAC, ice machines, plumbing systems, water heaters, and other equipment). Performs repairs and/or replacements to equipment and the physical facility as necessary. Oversees related vendors, contractors, and service providers. Maintains and monitors related budgets. Coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory codes and guidelines, including fire and life safety regulations. Ensures the outside of the property is maintained, including monitoring landscaping and snow removal companies where necessary. Qualifications
Five years of experience in institutional maintenance. Previous long-term care/healthcare industry experience preferred. Knowledge of long-term care Life Safety Code requirements preferred. Basic technology skills, including computer, website, email, and mobile phone usage to facilitate communication and use of the TELS system. General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and related systems. Basic carpentry and hardware knowledge. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance. Graduation from an appropriate technical/trade school preferred. Benefits
