$80,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Self or lead team to develop and implement commodity and supplier strategy. Select and manage suppliers. Achieve cost reduction and centralized sourcing objectives. Establish sustainable supply base in place. Self or lead team to prepare commodity and supplier strategy. Get alignment with China headquarters and consensus from senior leadership. Drive team proactively identify raw material centralized sourcing opportunity to reduce cost and improve supplier delivery performance for company operation. Develop best fit supply base for company in terms of supplier technical capability, quality consistency, competitive price, capacity, business fit in general. Lead solicit, analyze bids, and negotiate with suppliers. Manage total landed cost. Responsible for continual cost reduction project ideation, review and approval, and execution by using project management tools and techniques, and collaborating internally and externally as required. Monitor commodity market trends against supplier pricing and apply knowledge to drive the lowest cost to company. Lead the process of purchase agreements development, negotiation, and management in accordance with company policies, procedures, and approval authority. Manage business relationships with suppliers, including monitoring negotiated contracts to ensure technical, quality, cost, service, etc. requirements are met, and proactively implementing best practices and continuous improvement. Perform all Strategic purchasing activities in accordance with departmental goals, objectives and company policies and procedures. Track and report on key performance measurements Align with global requirement and processes, develop and execute the best fit processes for China Strategic Purchasing function. Maintain data integrity in E-Systems Coordinate all strategic purchasing related activities for operations and new product development as assigned within the various commodities Manage and improve global and China base suppliers overall performance, thus to better support company group global sourcing activities. Use Risk Management to assess supply vulnerability. Develops strategies to minimize or mitigate risk Support or lead project and site purchasing executions when assigned by company Support global/region supplier quality QA and/or QC as assigned Requirements
Bachelor degree or above, in an electronic or mechanic subject or material science Three ~ five years strategic purchasing with multinational companies, and team management experience preferred Must have sufficient analytical skills to perform highly complex procurement competitive and scheduling analysis. Must have technical knowledge related to performance and manufacturing processes about electronic, electrical and/or mechanical and/or non-metal materials commodity items Good self-driven and/or team leadership and Capable to work under pressure 8. Bilingual proficiency preferred Seniority level
