Körber Supply Chain LLC is looking for a Site Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of industrial facilities. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing personnel, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and maintaining strict compliance with customer-specific and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting high-volume, fast-paced clients in the parcel industry and be adept at navigating detailed compliance and communication protocols.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of installation projects, from initiation through commissioning. Ensure projects meet the customer’s performance metrics, timelines, and operational readiness expectations. Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe site, ensuring strict adherence to both OSHA and company safety protocols. Serve as the primary on-site liaison with the customer’s project managers, construction managers, and third-party vendors. Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones with the customer and internal leadership through regular reporting and site meetings. Rapidly respond to issues, changes, or escalations per the customer's communication standards. Develop and sustain strong working relationships with stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams. Ensure all required company documentation (e.g., daily reports, safety audits, change logs) is completed and submitted in a timely manner. Obtain and maintain all necessary permits, certifications, and sign-offs, including customer-specific approvals. Ensure adherence to local building codes, industry best practices, and customer operational compliance standards. Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks with a strong focus on safety and customer expectations. Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating with enterprise-level clients. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments. Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet). Advanced knowledge of construction and installation practices, materials, and methods. Strong understanding of OSHA standards and customer-specific safety protocols. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities. At least five years’ experience working in high-volume e-commerce parcel supply chain (required). Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA) are a plus. What We Offer:
