Job Description
This position oversees franchise sales & development activity in the Eastern US for the LaQuinta, Echo, Microtel, Hawthorne brands. This position must prospect and execute new franchise and management agreements. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaboration with corporate, relationship management, forecasting executions/openings, and communication with potential and existing customers. Responsibilities
Prospecting for new franchise agreements. Execute (Document Management & Closing) Agreements. Manage Relationships. Forecasting. Day to Day business activities (Plan and Arrange travel, etc.) Training/Shadowing to new hire sales personnel. Assisting other members of development team on special projects. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of major purchase/sale transactions, activities of debt and equity, providers and other hospitality related trends within the US. Responsible for leading a team of Directors to reach their sales goals. Responsible for hiring, training and leading the respective team. Requirements
Extensive sales experience. Proven achievement in sales by exceeding quotas. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. Excellent judgment in evaluating opportunities for the company. New Construction Development Knowledge. Commercial Real Estate Understanding. Commercial lending/banking acumen. Aptitude to evaluate pro-forma and feasibility studies for new construction projects. Effective Presentations skills. A desire to travel. Qualifications
A college degree is preferred. A record of achieving quotas in a sales organization required. A valid Driver’s License. Required to travel approximately 80% of time. Travel will be predominantly focused on lead generation and customer relationship management in the U.S. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. The expected pay range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 annually. This role is eligible to receive an incentive payment pursuant to the Franchised Development US Incentive Plan with a target, subject to the terms of the Plan.
