Description
Wheeler Machinery Co. is hiring a full-time Parts Specialist for the Salt Lake City location, working night shift hours from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. This role involves loading and unloading parts for customers and technicians, supporting PUDO and Parts Express operations, handling returns and customer pick-up/drop-off of parts and components, performing core inspections, processing warranties, and managing shipping and receiving tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safety will be the applicant's top priority.
Must be familiar with and participate in CPS/CI process.
Must be process driven/detail oriented.
This is an intermediate customer facing role in the parts department.
This is not part of the warehouse trainee program
Required to be proficient in all warehouse journeyman duties while being able to show ownership to any task assigned.
Parts specialist duties include but not limited to:
Core inspection
Loading and unloading of customers and technicians
Warranty processing
Hose Room
Shipping and receiving
Credits
Returns and customer parts/component pick-up and drop off
As well as all other journeyman warehouse function
Performs all other duties as assigned.
