Circle
Overview
Circle is a financial technology company at the epicenter of the emerging internet of money, where value can travel globally, instantly, and with lower costs than legacy settlement systems. Our infrastructure—including USDC, a blockchain-based dollar—helps businesses, institutions, and developers harness these breakthroughs and capitalize on this major turning point in the evolution of money and technology. As a Lead Product Manager for Payments Products, you will own the strategy, design, and delivery of Circle Payments Network’s payout capabilities to ensure recipients receive funds quickly, reliably, and in compliance with local regulations. You will focus on building flexible payout products and value-added services that drive adoption, retention, and monetization. This role balances strategic thinking and execution: identify high-value payout corridors, translate partner and market requirements into scalable features, and ensure solutions integrate into Financial Institution workflows. Circle is committed to visibility and stability in everything we do. As we grow, we are expanding into some of the world’s strongest jurisdictions. We value High Integrity, Future Forward, Multistakeholder, Mindful, and Driven by Excellence, and maintain a flexible and diverse work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder. What You’ll Do
Own the payments product strategy, from MVP flows (Fiat–Stable–Fiat) to advanced programmable payments in USDC and local stablecoins. Define and deliver core payments primitives: multi-currency settlement, FX routing, escrow, reversibility, and programmable payment triggers. Partner with Product Operations and Compliance to incorporate SLA enforcement, fee transparency, and RFI handling into payout flows. Collaborate with Pricing and Monetization teams to develop optimal fee structures and incentive programs that drive customer acquisition and transaction volume growth. Launch enhancements that expand payout options — including local stablecoin settlements and direct-to-wallet disbursements. Develop reporting, reconciliation, and exception-handling tools to manage payments efficiently. Collaborate with Engineering on scalable architecture for multi-rail payouts (Stablecoins, local RTPs). Collaborate with Business Development to prioritize corridor expansion based on liquidity availability and compliance readiness. What You’ll Bring
5+ years of product management experience, demonstrating exceptional execution skills. Expertise in payments, including local settlement rails and regulatory requirements. Ownership mindset with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to bridge strategic vision with execution details in collaboration with Engineering, Legal, and Partner teams. Familiarity with developer APIs, on-chain payment flows, and blockchain-based settlement mechanisms. Circle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core. We consider a wide variety of elements when crafting our compensation ranges and total compensation packages. Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation ranges may differ by location. Base Pay Range: $157,500 - $207,500 We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Circle. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
