We are seeking a Project Manager who will provide daily support to program leadership to manage timely submission of contract deliverables, ensure work is within the contract scope, and track expenditures to stay within budget. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project success and achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day management, tracking, development, and delivery of recurring artifacts under Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)
Maintain quality standards of contract deliverables/CDRLs and coordinate improvements as needed
Execute day-to-day financial management to include monthly analysis, cumulative analysis, forecasting, and Earned Value Management in dollars and hours on Firm Fixed Price and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee contracts
Develop detailed project schedules and manage schedule performance reporting via Microsoft Project
Identify potential risks and challenges, assist in developing mitigation strategies, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as necessary to minimize impact to the project cost, schedule, and performance
Coordinate inputs and write project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and presentation material, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Analyze resource allocation against program execution and deliver recommendations for modifications
Monitor progress for project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics and communicate status updates to leadership team
Contribute to the development and delivery of Requests for Proposals
Provide mentorship and professional development support to personnel, promoting skill growth and career progression
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of experience in project management
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
Ability to facilitate meetings and presentations for various stakeholders
Outstanding organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Active DoD Secret security clearance, SCI eligible
Desired Qualifications
Program Management Professional (PMP) and/or DoD Acquisition Management certification
Knowledge and application of Agile project management methodologies on DoD projects
Knowledge and application of Earned Value Management on DoD projects
Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse teams, fostering a positive and productive environment
Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines without compromising quality
Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, demonstrating initiative and accountability in project execution

San Diego, CA
The selected individual must report to the San Diego, CA office or other facilities to complete classified work. This is not a remote position
