Position overview:
Commercial Department Manager
who will actively manage our Commercial team. The Manager will oversee the Topeka commercial installation and/or service team performing work in the Topeka area. Product knowledge is not required; however, experience managing a service or installation team responsible for servicing or installing mechanical and/or electrical products and/or equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the commercial service and installation department
Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure the plan is properly executed
Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective manner
Ensure projects are completed timely, below budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer
Review monthly financial/operational reports and work with front-line managers to develop action plans to improve
Improve individual performance of the field force through daily, monthly and yearly performance reviews
Assist with hiring, training and developing new employees
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and prior management experience is preferred; may consider an equivalent combination of experience/education
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a good mechanical aptitude
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer use in a business environment
Driver's license required
