Lucid Motors is seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of tools and processes that enable efficient and scalable Powertrain product development. This role will be part of the Powertrain Integration team in the Powertrain Programs group and will be instrumental in shaping the Powertrain Product Development Process (PDP) as a Jira-based tool and managing the Jira Planning BOM Tool used for part-level project management. Key Responsibilities: Develop the Product Development Process (PDP) for Powertrain products: Lead cross-functional workshops to define and document the Powertrain PDP. Work with all Powertrain functions (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, etc) to build out detailed deliverables and dependencies for each swimlane. Develop milestone-based activity checklists and deliverable templates for each phase of the Powertrain lifecycle (concept, design, validation, launch). Work with the Vehicle Programs team to define Powertrain cross-functional deliverables for the Vehicle PDP Design and implement the PDP as a structured Jira workflow, including custom issue types, statuses, transitions, and automation rules to reflect phase gates, deliverables, and approvals. Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, quality and manufacturing teams to identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and APQP methodologies. Support training and onboarding of teams to the new PDP workflows and tools. Define and track KPIs to measure PDP adoption and effectiveness across programs. Manage the Jira Planning BOM tool for part-level project management: Own the configuration, rollout, and ongoing management of the Jira Planning BOM Tool, used for project management of individual parts, including part release planning, sourcing status, and readiness tracking. Partner with engineering, supply chain, and Agile Systems teams to ensure Jira Assets are accurately linked to build tickets, test results, and vehicle integration tasks. Define feature requirements to be implemented by the Agile Systems team Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into part status, sourcing milestones, and integration readiness. Train users on best practices for Jira Planning BOM usage. Drive integration of Jira Planning BOM data with other enterprise systems (e.g., PLM, ERP) to support end-to-end traceability and decision-making. Lead the development of other Powertrain Programs tools & processes as needed. Where needed, support the Powertrain Integration team with Powertrain program delivery: Form the interface between Powertrain Engineering and Vehicle Programs. Maintain schedules and ensure alignment between powertrain product roadmaps and vehicle programs. Develop and maintain the product development timeline and resource requirements Drive key decisions (technical, project timing, supplier decisions, change management, etc.) that impact system delivery Take ownership and drive resolution of any blockers to successful delivery of the product, including: Technical issues during development or series production - work with responsible engineers to define and drive actions to resolve, monitor and report status to management teams Organizational issues - identify gaps in resources, processes or roles/responsibilities and escalate appropriately with management teams Manufacturing issues that require engineering support – respond to requests for support and escalate appropriately with manufacturing teams and engineering teams to resolve Own the powertrain bill-of-materials delivered to vehicle general assembly Develop and maintain the powertrain roadmap (including variants, product improvements, supplier changes, etc) and impacts on technical specifications, validation testing, manufacturing, cost, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in technical project management within automotive or hardware development. Strong understanding and experience of automotive engineering product development, from concept to series production Systems approach to engineering product development, including demonstrated ability to bring together teams from different engineering disciplines Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Assets for hardware tracking and Agile planning. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process adoption. Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills: Experience implementing PDP frameworks in a fast-paced engineering environment. Knowledge of BOM structuring, prototype build workflows, and vehicle integration processes. Data-driven mindset with ability to define and track metrics for process improvement. Technical understanding of the fundamentals of high voltage powertrain systems and architectures Familiarity with specific Powertrain commodities, including PCBA development and power electronics manufacturing, battery cell development & manufacturing, electric motor magnetics & stator winding development, etc. Salary Range:

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
