Technical Project Manager, Power Electronics – Newark, CA Lucid Motors is building luxury electric vehicles focused on design, sustainability, and performance. We seek an experienced Technical Project Manager for Power Electronics to join the Powertrain Programs team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in project management, strong understanding of power electronics, PCBA development, and industrialization/mass production, with the ability to influence and coordinate with engineering teams and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate would be able to: Communicate effectively to all stakeholders and levels within the organization. Understand and articulate program milestones to project teams and customers. Identify risks and critical issues and escalate with a concise action plan to senior management. Take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution; demonstrate a can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional project team, in partnership with a technical lead, to deliver Power Electronics sub-assemblies and PCAs to internal Powertrain customers. Project manage the engineering development process for Power Electronic products and PCBAs, including developing and maintaining development timelines, resources, and budgets. Manage cross-functional project teams focusing on power electronics design and manufacturing processes. Drive engineering activities at the power electronics sub-assembly and PCBA level in accordance with the development timeline, including design requirements, design release, prototyping, engineering testing, process development, DV & PV testing, APQP, etc. Drive key decisions (technical, timing, supplier, change management, manufacturability) to ensure on-time delivery. Identify and resolve blockers to successful delivery, including technical issues, supplier issues, organizational gaps, and manufacturing issues with data-driven actions. Contribute to the power electronics roadmap and impacts on technical specifications, validation, manufacturing, and cost. Manage PCB development processes across Powertrain product lines and develop new tools to improve project outcomes. Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience. Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field (Master’s preferred). Strong understanding of automotive engineering product development from concept to series production. Experience with power electronics products; automotive experience is a plus. Understanding of PCBA manufacturing requirements/processes. Experience engaging with suppliers and contract manufacturers. Strong technical understanding of power electronics fundamentals. Experience with PCB development, including engineering design, sourcing, validation, and contract manufacturing. Experience building and managing program management tools and processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Strong organization and delegation with a track record of delivering on time. Ability to influence executive stakeholders and engineering teams; quick problem-solving and decision facilitation skills. Desirable: understanding of Practical Problem-solving techniques; data-driven decision making. Ability to learn quickly and perform effectively in a complex environment.
