The Manager/Senior Manager, Origination & Contracting (title commensurate with experience) will be responsible for originating new business by assisting to develop new and existing customer relationships, and communicating Reactivate’s story to key customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Support execution of deal strategies and assist with market analysis
Prepare and review financial models, customer proposals and various deal materials for power purchase and offtake agreements
Conduct targeted outreach to develop new business opportunities and relationships
Identify and assess potential changing market dynamics or fundamental drivers that could impact price
Analyze and develop different structures for the customer including risk mitigation solutions to ensure effective risk management assessment
Support deal execution – draft term sheets, assist in negotiations and manage internal reviews
Collaborate with various departments such as Legal, FP&A and Asset Management to ensure alignment throughout transaction lifecycle
Prepare materials for internal leadership review and periodic market updates
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Master’s degree preferred
Demonstrated track record of selling power
Experience in community solar and distributed generation (DG) markets, projects or related resources
3-5 years of experience in energy origination, structured transactions, PPAs or related commercial energy roles
Demonstrates an excellent understanding of US power markets and an ability to assess, evaluate, and offer insights into evolving market conditions
Working knowledge of RTO operations, electric transmission and power generation and storage technologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including substantial experience in proposal and presentation preparation
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, familiarity with CRMs
The annual base salary for this position is $140,000 – $160,000. Reactivate considers several factors when determining base pay offers such as scope and responsibility of the role, candidate’s work experience and/or education, training and certifications among other key skills at the time of offer.
