Manager/Senior Manager, Origination & Contracting (title commensurate with experience)
will be responsible for originating new business by developing new and existing customer relationships and communicating Reactivate’s story to key customers and stakeholders. Responsibilities
Support execution of deal strategies and assist with market analysis Prepare and review financial models, customer proposals and deal materials for power purchase and offtake agreements Conduct targeted outreach to develop new business opportunities and relationships Identify and assess potential changing market dynamics or fundamental drivers that could impact price Analyze and develop different structures for the customer including risk mitigation solutions to ensure effective risk management Support deal execution – draft term sheets, assist in negotiations and manage internal reviews Collaborate with Legal, FP&A and Asset Management to ensure alignment throughout transaction lifecycle Prepare materials for internal leadership review and periodic market updates Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Demonstrated track record of selling power Experience in community solar and distributed generation (DG) markets, projects or related resources 3-5 years of experience in energy origination, structured transactions, PPAs or related commercial energy roles Strong understanding of US power markets and ability to assess evolving market conditions Working knowledge of RTO operations, electric transmission and power generation and storage technologies Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proposal and presentation preparation Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, familiarity with CRMs Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this position is $140,000 – $160,000. Reactivate considers several factors when determining base pay offers such as scope and responsibility of the role, candidate’s work experience and/or education, training and certifications among other key skills at the time of offer. Benefits package effective day one of employment includes medical benefits, 401(k), professional development opportunities, and a competitive paid time off policy.
