Associate Director of Distribution

to oversee and optimize our distribution operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of products across the supply chain, managing distribution center operations, and leading teams to meet organizational goals. The Associate Director will play a key role in driving operational excellence, improving logistics processes, and supporting the growth of the company. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily distribution operations, including order fulfillment, inventory control, warehousing, and transportation. Develop and implement strategies to improve distribution efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and industry regulations, including safety and quality standards. Lead and mentor distribution center staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and customer service teams to align distribution activities with overall company objectives. Monitor performance metrics (KPIs) related to shipping accuracy, on-time delivery, warehouse efficiency, and cost control. Manage vendor and carrier relationships, negotiating contracts and evaluating performance. Oversee the implementation and optimization of warehouse management systems (WMS) and distribution technology. Prepare and manage budgets for distribution operations. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to support scalability and business growth. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 7+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of distribution center operations, warehouse management, and transportation logistics. Proven track record of managing teams and improving operational efficiency. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Experience with WMS, ERP, and other supply chain software tools. Pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated industry experience is a plus. Seniority level
