Division Operations Manager (Chief of Maintenance) (PCN 252988) — Fairbanks International Airport is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Chief of Maintenance, overseeing all infrastructure maintenance and operational planning for the airport. This high-impact role manages multi-disciplinary teams, guides strategic initiatives, and ensures facilities and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with state and federal regulations. What You Will Be Doing
As Chief of Maintenance, you will lead and manage the overall maintenance operations at Fairbanks International Airport, overseeing strategic planning and execution of projects and initiatives across seven functional areas. You will ensure coordination of airside and landside maintenance, supervise staff, guide infrastructure planning, and direct capital and operating budget activities to maintain a safe and operational airport. This role requires strong leadership and excellent written communication skills, as you will develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational guidance that align with federal and state standards. You’ll collaborate with contractors and project teams to ensure infrastructure projects meet regulatory and performance standards, while helping shape the long-term vision of the airport’s maintenance programs.
