My client, a well-established construction company in Arizona, is seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead and manage on-site construction activities across a variety of commercial and civil projects. They pride themselves on quality, safety, and timely delivery and are looking for a proactive leader to oversee project execution from start to finish.
About the Role:
As the General Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising field operations, managing subcontractors and crews, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
Lead, coordinate, and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
Enforce strict safety protocols and promote a culture of zero incidents.
Monitor project progress and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and cost overruns.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years as a superintendent.
Proven track record managing commercial and civil construction projects in Arizona.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and construction best practices.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
