RPA Project Manager – Bot Development & Delivery

Overview
Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duration: 12Months+ Extension Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience (DOE) Work Authorization: Role Summary
Responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of RPA solutions, including bot development, testing, deployment, and transition to support. Acts as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, automation developers, and IT teams. Ensures timely execution of automation projects with focus on quality, compliance, and business value. Oversees L2 support activities including bug fixes, minor enhancements, and performance tuning as part of the development team’s scope. Key Responsibilities
Lead planning and execution of RPA projects across multiple business units. Manage development lifecycle of bots, including requirement gathering, design, build, test, and deploy. Coordinate with business analysts and process owners to validate automation use cases. Oversee sprint planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking. Ensure adherence to automation governance, security standards, and documentation protocols. Facilitate stakeholder reviews, status updates, and risk mitigation planning. Collaborate with support teams for smooth handover and production readiness. Manage L2 support activities including incident analysis, bug resolution, and minor enhancements. Drive continuous improvement and optimization of automation delivery and support processes. Skills Required
Proven experience in managing RPA projects using platforms like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism. Strong understanding of automation lifecycle, bot orchestration, exception handling, and support models. Experience in managing L2 support operations including root cause analysis and change implementation. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, MS Project). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, compliance, and change management processes. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships. PMP or equivalent certification preferred; RPA platform certifications are a plus.
