Assistant Professor of Dentistry

The Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology (CCMB) of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC) is recruiting outstanding candidates for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to conduct cutting-edge research in the areas of cell and developmental biology, tissue regeneration, cell signaling, gene regulation, computational modeling, head and neck cancer, and other congenital or acquired human diseases using genetic, genomic and/or epigenomic approaches. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in developmental biology, cell biology, genetics, or molecular biology. Candidates with both a Ph.D. and either a D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a strong record of high-quality research with significant publications in their field. Responsibilities and Qualifications: Conduct cutting-edge research in the areas of cell and developmental biology, tissue regeneration, cell signaling, gene regulation, computational modeling, head and neck cancer, and other congenital or acquired human diseases using genetic, genomic and/or epigenomic approaches. Collaborate with faculty members at CCMB and other research centers.
