Scientist, R&D - Product Development

Kraft Heinz . We are seeking a Scientist to lead product development projects across the Cream Cheese category within the Elevation Platform, working with brands like Philadelphia. As a Scientist, you will drive innovation, renovation, and maintenance of the brand, ensuring quality objectives and business continuity. This is a technical leadership role shaping the future of our food solutions. Responsibilities
Support and lead product development projects from formulation through scale up and start up Commercialization of new and reformulated products and transition from development to production Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision using clear communication, prioritization, and multitasking Support general brand maintenance to ensure business continuity across multiple categories Interact with Operations, Center R&D, US BUs, equipment vendors, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Marketing Interface with technical experts and category scientists to understand technologies and applications Execute technical timelines, communicate clearly, raise issues and risks, and develop contingency plans Assist in scoping front innovation ideas and participate in ideation sessions Design and conduct lab tests, pilot plant and large-scale tests to optimize formulation/process Write specifications for high-quality products Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Dairy Science, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences or related fields Minimum 3+ years of Product Development Experience in a CPG or equivalent (preferably dairy) Ability to work effectively in a team Knowledge of consumer goods, food chemistry, analytical testing, formulations and processing in food manufacturing Understanding of ingredient interactions/functionality Executional excellence and personal leadership Self-motivated problem solver with drive to deliver objectives in a complex environment Excellent verbal and written communication Willingness to travel up to 30% (USA and Canada plants, co-manufacturers, suppliers) Compensation and Benefits
New Hire Base Salary Range: $77,800.00 - $97,300.00 Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as per plan terms.
