Overview
Assistant/Associate Professor - Multiple Positions (GI Hepatology) in the Department of Medicine, Division of Liver Disease and Transplant Hepatology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). This is a full-time academic position focused on liver disease and transplant hepatology, with responsibilities across patient care, teaching, and research. Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient liver disease and transplant hepatology consultation services. Perform gastroenterology procedures consistent with training. Serve as core faculty for training gastroenterology and transplant hepatology fellows. Support the general medicine residency training program and the educational needs of NJMS. Lead investigator-initiated and grant-supported clinical research studies; actively support the division's research mission. Engage in patient care, teaching (medical students, residents, and subspecialty fellows), and research in alignment with Rutgers NJMS, University Hospital, and the Division of Liver Disease and Transplant Hepatology policies. Contribute to further enhancement and expansion of the liver transplant program. Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience: Board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology and Board eligible/certified in Transplant Hepatology. Certifications/Licenses: MD/DO. A range of $353,627 – $480,983. Offer Information:
