The Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey invites applications for one or more full-time Tenure or Tenure-track faculty positions in the Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery (ACS), at any appropriate rank. RWJMS is seeking an exceptional surgeon-scientist at any career stage (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) who is dedicated to developing or maintaining their own independent research program, has a commitment to collaborative work and graduate teaching, and shows the ability to be a leader in the field of surgical research, with a focus on the prevention of high risk emergency surgery. Successful candidates will have an established track record of publication and funding commensurate with their career stage and a clear intent to pursue an independent, federally-funded research program. The Department of Surgery, Division of Acute Care Surgery is committed to supporting clinical researchers in Surgery who are dedicated to academic excellence and research that improves the health and wellness of individuals and populations. Responsibilities and Qualifications
