Overview

The Department of Integrative Anatomical Sciences at the Keck School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Clinical track Assistant Professor position in Human Anatomy. The appointment is non-tenure track and begins July 1, 2023 or shortly thereafter. Responsibilities

Teach human gross anatomy in a dissection-based course with a clinical emphasis within an integrated medical curriculum. Fulfill the department's obligation for continued excellence in teaching anatomy to health professional students. Provide teaching and advising in the department\'s M.S. and Ph.D. programs. Contribute to teaching of related anatomical sciences as desired (e.g., neuroanatomy, embryology, histology). Develop and maintain an productive research program in the anatomical sciences with potential to attract extramural funding. Collaborate with faculty within the department and contribute to scholarly activity aligned with anatomy, histology, and neuroanatomy interests. Qualifications

Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Prior experience teaching human gross anatomy to health professional students. Strong commitment to empirical scholarship in the anatomical sciences. Potential to attract extramural funding. Application Process
