WSP is initiating a search for this position. Responsibilities

Develop and apply analytical and numerical groundwater models to support contaminated site investigations and water resource projects. Analyze and interpret model results and hydrogeological data; prepare reports. Provide technical support for geologic and hydrogeologic investigations, hydrogeologic testing, geologic and hydrogeologic visualization, analytical and numerical groundwater flow modeling, contaminated sites investigations, and development of conceptual site models. Collaborate with other members of the Redmond modeling team and the broader WSP groundwater technical community worldwide in a collaborative environment. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, or Engineering with a specialization in groundwater modelling through coursework or undergraduate projects/thesis. 0 to 1 year of relevant post-education experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel. Desire to effectively communicate technical information to clients, regulators, and colleagues in an easily understood format. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong commitment to quality and timely delivery of services. Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately. Preferred Qualifications

Post-graduate degree (M.Sc., Ph.D.) in Geology, Hydrology, Engineering, or related discipline. Strong all-around academic knowledge of physical hydrogeology and geology. Practical experience with physical hydrogeology including borehole logging, monitoring well installation, and hydraulic conductivity testing. Experience with Pest and Null Space Monte Carlo analyses. Exposure to machine learning. Strong computer skills including GIS software, digital databases, and visualization software (Leapfrog); programming experience (Python, R, VBA). Compensation & Benefits
