Overview
The School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications to a Research Scientist (Open Rank) position in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. All areas of chemical and biomolecular engineering are of interest. The Cheung lab is seeking a Research Scientist (Open Rank) at Georgia Tech. The position will conduct research related to developing sustainable solutions to improve soil fertility. Responsibilities
Conduct experiments related to soil fertility. Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in this area of research. Contribute to research articles and assist the PI as needed. Required Qualifications
This position vacancy is an open rank announcement. Final job offer will be dependent on candidate qualifications in alignment with Research Faculty ranks as outlined in section 3.2.1 of the Georgia Tech Faculty Handbook. Research Scientist I: A Bachelor’s degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education). Research Scientist II: A Master’s Degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education) and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of Master’s, OR a Master’s Degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education) and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience after completion of a Bachelor’s, OR a Doctoral Degree (chemical engineering, chemistry, material science or relevant education). Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should have a PhD in chemical/biomedical engineering, material science, or a related field. Required Documents To Attach
