Within the Allied Health Department, which includes the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) courses, Patient Care Technician Program, and the Medical Assisting program, the employee will primarily assist instructional preparation and teaching of Allied Health courses. Specific Duties
Provide assistance instructing allied health students in the medical assisting program and/or the patient technician program which includes CNA courses. Assist instructors with evaluating student performance in the classroom and in the lab setting. Use new technologies in the classroom (in person and/or remote), as appropriate, to facilitate learning. Ensure safety in the laboratory at all times; immediately address any unsafe activity and report it to the instructor. Qualifications
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. Maintain expertise and currency in the area of teaching responsibility. Associate degree or certificate in Medical Assisting preferable. Comply with the duties as stipulated in the Massachusetts Community College Council Collective Bargaining Agreement. Additional Information
Salary: $1,397.00 Per Credit Hour Start Date: Fall 2025 Applicants who do not meet the qualifications are encouraged to explain how their background and experience provide the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience for the responsibilities of this position.
