ADMINISTRATIVE VACANCY NOTICE INTERMEDIATE ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL LOCATION: Sherman Intermediate Elementary School (Grades 4-6) Rush-Henrietta Central School District, Rochester, N.Y. SALARY: Highly competitive, per the Rush-Henrietta Administrators' contract, with a range of $100,000-$166,635, based on experience. Qualifications

Rush-Henrietta is seeking an innovative, dedicated and collaborative educational leader to be the next Principal at Sherman Intermediate Elementary School. Demonstrated highly successful elementary teaching and leadership experience are required. Candidates must demonstrate a student-centered, culturally affirming approach to instructional leadership, data-informed continuous improvement, and supervision practices that lead to student achievement and teacher growth. Applicants must have or be eligible for New York administrative certification (SBL, SAS or SDA). Rush-Henrietta provides comprehensive mentoring and leadership development for all new administrators. Leadership candidates of diverse backgrounds and experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

Assign and support staff for optimal student learning and school operations. Conduct classroom visits, observations, and teacher conferences. Lead and coordinate building professional learning. Analyze student work and data cycles for continuous improvement. Collaborate with the instructional leadership team to implement and monitor school improvement plans, review student achievement data, and provide feedback for teaching and learning development. Lead MTSS structure of supports for positive culture and climate, utilizing SEL, CASEL, Restorative practices and PBIS or the district-provided framework. Confers with the Assistant Principal, Pupil Personnel Team, and parents regarding discipline concerns and overall staff and student culture and climate. Ensure consistent implementation of code of conduct procedures. Recommend establishment of new clubs, teams and student activities. Prioritize family and community active partnerships in the learning process. Work with the PTO to develop programs to foster understanding between school and home. Building Organization & Operation

Oversee personnel selection, recruitment, and recommendation processes for efficient school operations, including support staff and teacher appointments. Coordinate scheduling, registration, and classroom assignments. Oversee school opening procedures, including handbook updates and scheduling logistics. Manage safety programs, attendance policies, and examination schedules. Implement Board policies, supervise budgeting, and maintain financial records. Facilitate building maintenance, approve usage requests, and handle administrative reporting requirements. District Profile
