Provide advanced skills in trauma-informed crisis intervention and de-escalation Monitor the safety and security of the facility and coordinate responses to urgent and emergency situations Offer a therapeutic, calming, recovery-based, and pro-active presence in the program Assist leadership with safety drills, safety protocols, and facility-related initiatives May perform other person-served related support as interest and experience allows Model and teach skills for positive relationships and conflict negotiation Provide a calming presence to families and youth in conflict or crisis while onsite and monitor safety of persons served, employees, and the facility Assist CBHC leadership in ensuring safety drills are held and documented; ensure required equipment is present and in good working order; maintain site safety to minimize fire hazards Assist with maintenance and cleanliness of the physical plant, reporting concerns as needed Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies using code protocols (e.g., calling a code, administering naloxone, CPR/first aid) Assist with transportation to/from CBHC and CCS sites as needed Pay and Schedule
Pay Rate:
$25.46/hour Schedule:
Relief hours available Qualifications
Required Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer fluency; minimum three years proven experience using Microsoft Office preferred Preferred valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle Required Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; BA degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of direct care or similar role in a behavioral health and/or medical setting Knowledge of trauma-informed care and de-escalation skills Seniority level
