TRUST:
A Mobile Mental Health Evaluation Team that handles psychiatric emergencies for adults and provides a crisis hotline, mobile mental health response and follow-up services. Schedule
Saturday and Sunday 3pm-11:30pm. Responsibilities and Duties
Work within the agency's vision, mission, and philosophy; develop strength-based relationships with clients in crisis and intervene during crisis situations (agitation, aggression, active psychosis, suicidal ideation, self-injury). Respond to community or CSU-based crisis requests from individuals, partners, law enforcement or natural supports; may involve joint response with law enforcement. Participate in crisis assessment and triage, including screening for dangerous situations and high-risk factors; de-escalate and stabilize crises and link clients to community resources. Assist with transitions/transport to the appropriate level of care; may search for and engage natural supports. Work independently in clients' homes and in various community or treatment settings; may require restraint certification. Other Duties and Responsibilities
Drive to adults or youth in crisis to the identified location as needed. Program-specific duties may vary; perform other responsibilities to support department needs. Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation training for law enforcement and community stakeholders. Job-Specific Competencies

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s in Psychology preferred. One (1) year experience in the mental health field. Other Specific Requirements
If required by the program, pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within 30 days of hire and annually. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with children or adults (1 year). BA/BS in related field preferred. Highly Desirable Qualifications
Interpersonal skills and ability to write and speak grammatically; excellent customer service. Second language proficiency is highly desirable. Physical Requirements
Must remain physically capable of keeping clients safe; tasks may include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, bending, and similar movements. May need to move quickly, drive a car, and if in a Crisis Stabilization Unit, pass a Human Performance Evaluation Test. May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
