Overview
Our Client is looking for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead their safety initiatives and ensure a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment. This role is critical to maintaining their commitment to employee well-being and regulatory excellence. You’ll oversee all aspects of safety—from OSHA compliance and training to incident investigation and budget management. The plant is currently at 200+ employees operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week manufacturing a variety of products. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of safety, including OSHA compliance, training, incident investigation, and budget management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of safety leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA standards, and Workers Compensation laws. Proven experience in hazard recognition, incident investigation, and case management. Certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to work independently and collaboratively with plant leadership. Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10 days/year). Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied plant conditions (heat, cold, noise, heights, etc.). Seniority level
