Executive Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at Northern Arizona University (NAU). The Executive Director, working title for CFR, leads fundraising strategy to grow philanthropic support aligned with the university's priorities. Responsibilities include strategic planning, policy development, goal setting, budget management, and ensuring a sustainable and growing fundraising pipeline. The role collaborates with campus partners to engage corporate and foundation donors and manages a portfolio of top corporations and private foundations. The position reports to the Associate Vice President of Central Advancement. Responsibilities Include
65% - Fundraising and Relationship Building: Secure philanthropic support from top private foundations and national funders (> $100,000); manage a portfolio of foundation prospects through qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Develop strategic partnerships with corporations and foundations by identifying new donors, cultivating relationships with key leaders, and securing major gifts aligned with the university's priorities. Act as a liaison among division colleagues, leadership, and the university community to elevate NAU’s profile and diversify revenue from philanthropic partners. Lead CFR efforts to research, write, and apply for private and corporate grant support; maximize impact through compelling proposals, reporting, and compliance with grant guidelines. Foster donor relations and stewardship practices with corporate and foundation partners. 10% - Strategy Development: Identify and implement cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to increase engagement and higher annual support; maximize corporate engagement through relationships, programs, sponsorships, grants, and win-win opportunities; collaborate to foster long-term partnerships beyond one-time gifts. Lead engagement with the Corporate Collaborative workgroup consisting of offices and units across campus. Seniority level
