$60.00/hr - $65.00/hr Overview
We are looking to hire a talented Sr Android Engineer to design, build, deploy and maintain the next generation of mobile applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end mobile applications for various internal business customers. Your primary duties may include employing test-driven development (TDD), collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications published on the App Store. Responsibilities
Design, build, deploy and maintain mobile applications for internal business customers. Employ test-driven development (TDD) and collaborate with design teams to implement new features. Identify and fix application bottlenecks; maintain core code and publish updates to app stores. Ensure enterprise-grade performance and quality of the application to specifications. Maintain code and atomization of the application; design and implement application updates. Utilize code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket. Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, Camera APIs, etc. Required skills / experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or Masters in software engineering. Typically 5-7 years of experience. 5+ years of Android development using Kotlin and/or Java. Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium. Desired skills / experience
Experience with continuous integration and unit tests. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution. Employment details
