Job Summary: Acts as a recognized technical expert in a strategic business application, technology, industry or ACI service offering. Functions as a high level individual contributor in at least one technical area. Utilizes expertise in business management practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and/or business solutions to client problems. Complies with all applicable ACI Time and Expense reporting processes and procedures. Approves and reports all time and expense information by the deadlines.

Responsibilities

Industry/Business Analysis: Analyze client’s business needs, integrate client’s business strategies and recommend appropriate information technology solutions utilizing ACI’s methodologies. Conduct analysis of corporate objectives, critical success factors, business functions and processes. Plan, integrate and manage the implementation of new technology. Possess technical expertise in one or several business or industry specializations such as Financial or Merchant Retail Payment Models, Global Payment Networks, Data Mining/Data Warehousing/Analytics, Electronic Banking or Electronic B2B Commerce, Customer Relationship Management, Treasury Management, and more.

Project Management: Manage large, strategic and/or multiple projects. Establish critical success factors, develop/improve strategic processes, create project plans and Statements of Work, solve highly technical problems, provide technical direction, audit adherence to plans, and contribute to knowledge management.

Business Development/Sales Support: Contribute to regional/product business development and sales support efforts. Identify opportunities, meet with clients, prepare and present proposals, and identify staff that matches client/project needs.

Mentoring: Act as a mentor, coach or trainer to consultants and ensure staff information is updated in time and expense reporting systems.

Other duties: Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to corporate policies including the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 10 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology in the position’s specialty. Extensive payments industry experience.

Expertise in one or more technical disciplines, methodologies or service offerings such as ISM, PDM, ESP/BAU, Fraud Risk Management Optimization, Advanced Payment Solutions. Knowledge of payment architecture, product architecture, global payment networks, database architecture, and related IT business management practices. Ability to develop and execute a business plan and write/present proposals to CIO-level clients.

Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to work independently within ACI framework and mentor others.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

Graduate degree and/or advanced industry certifications preferred.
