Summary
We’re looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher and help shape exceptional product experiences across some of our most impactful and well-known brands. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Consumer & Shopper Insights team, design, engineering, and brand stakeholders to co-create innovative, user-centered products, services, and experiences. You’ll act as a strategic thought partner—guiding product teams with rich, actionable insights and championing the voice of the user from discovery to launch. Responsibilities
Lead user-centered research and design efforts throughout the product development lifecycle—from early concepting through validation and iteration. Serve as the primary UX advocate for our cross-functional partners, promoting design thinking and user empathy across the organization. Translate business and product requirements into meaningful UX objectives, user journeys, and product solutions. Design, plan, and execute qualitative and quantitative research—including usability testing, interviews, surveys, diary studies, and ergonomic assessments. Analyze and synthesize data to uncover user needs, pain points, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights that shape strategic decisions. Create and present compelling reports, presentations, and workshops to communicate findings and influence product direction. Conduct heuristic evaluations, competitive audits, and ergonomic assessments to ensure intuitive and inclusive design. Define UX goals, success metrics, and guidelines based on research and best practices. Stay up to date on emerging UX research methodologies, tools, and industry trends. Collaborate with designers to create prototypes and contribute to iterative design validation. Qualifications
Education:
Minimum Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, Ergonomics/Anthropometrics, Information/Human Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, or related field. Work Experience:
Five+ years of UX research experience in a corporate or consulting setting. Research Expertise:
Broad experience with diverse research methodologies and the ability to design, lead, and scale studies independently. Human Factors Knowledge:
Deep understanding of ergonomic and anthropometric principles, and how they apply to physical product development. Usability & Prototyping:
Skilled in in-person and remote usability testing, from planning to synthesis. Comfortable working with both low- and high-fidelity prototypes. Communication:
Excellent storytelling, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Able to distill complex findings into clear insights for diverse audiences. Collaboration:
Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional environments, working independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams. Motivation & Agility:
Curious, flexible, and excited to dive into new domains—from camping gear to kitchen tools to candles. Project Management:
Skilled at managing multiple research initiatives in parallel, balancing speed with rigor. Travel:
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.
