About the Role
The IT HRIS Technology & Integration Specialist plays a critical role in building, maintaining, and optimizing Empower’s HR technology landscape through expert configuration, secure integrations, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
Proficient in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors) and integration tools such as Boomi, Mulesoft, or vendor APIs, with a strong understanding of data transfer protocols and system mapping.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications and actionable solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to support cross-functional teams, document technical requirements, and manage system-level troubleshooting in a regulated environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR technology or HRIS roles, with demonstrated success in platform integration, project delivery, and system optimization across multiple HR domains.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, human resources, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.
Platform-specific certifications in HRIS or HCM systems such as Workday, UKG, ADP, or SAP SuccessFactors preferred; integration and project management certifications such as Boomi Developer, Mulesoft, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) preferred; certifications related to data privacy and compliance, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) preferred.
