Planning, evaluating, operating, repairing, maintaining, upgrading and documenting laboratory system hardware, software, operating systems and firmware in support of software and product development. Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Installs and upgrades products, ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel. Basic Qualifications For a Field Technician 3
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related experience Experience as an Aircraft Technician Basic IT knowledge Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 50 lbs. Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance with an investigation date within the last 5 years. Ability to travel (up to 50%). Preferred Qualifications For Field Technician 3
Associates degree in a technical field and related experience. U.S. military electronic school in Electronic Warfare or RF Systems. Experience with RADAR, Electronic Warfare systems, RF Engineering, or other electronics background that includes experience testing, troubleshooting, and performing repairs. Experience as an EA-18G Aviation Electronics Technician Experience with cable fabrication (RF, MILSPEC connectors, solder splices, etc) Experience with MIL-STD 1553 About Belcan
