Executive Chef 3 for Leisure World
located in
Silver Spring, Maryland . Leisure World is a 55 and older active living community with over 8,500 residents. This Executive Chef will spearhead the restaurant and catering operations on campus. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee a vibrant independent living community, managing a culinary team and delivering exceptional dining experiences across multiple venues. Your mission: craft trend-forward menus, uphold the highest standards of quality and safety, and drive operational success within budget. If you’re known for turning meals into unforgettable moments and building a loyal following through flavor, flair, and flawless execution, this is your stage. Responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative, nutritious, and appealing menus tailored to resident preferences and dietary needs Ensure rigorous food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met and exceeded Lead, mentor, and engage culinary and utility staff to foster a positive, resident-focused culture Plan and execute special events and chef dinners, delivering elevated dining experiences for residents and guests Collaborate with wellness and care teams to support resident health and satisfaction Manage inventory, budget, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and quality Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Minimum Management Experience: 3 years Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years in food or culinary services (restaurants, catering, institutional services, etc.) What We Offer
