Provide primary day-to-day support to OHA/ODHS staff located in the Portland, OR region for the maintenance, repair and use of personal computers and information systems. Enter and manage tickets in the unit’s ticket tracking system (CA). Support local area networks, servers, wide area network infrastructure, and standard software. Adhere to IT business processes including incident management, change management, asset management, configuration management, and other IT service management functions. May provide secondary/backup support to other ODHS/OHA staff and partners in other parts of the state as needed. Provide backup support during down times to help resolve service tickets or take phone calls for the Service Desk. Minimum Qualifications Three (3) years of information systems experience in IT helpdesk, information system, or desktop support, OR An Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND one (1) year of information systems experience in IT helpdesk, information system, or desktop support. Desired Attributes Strong understanding of information technology related to desktop computers, LAN/WAN, and general computer operations. Good understanding of Windows operating systems and troubleshooting. Ability to work under pressure with professional and tactful customer service. Effective communication and excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers. Initiative and independent judgment; ability to work independently. Contribute to a positive, respectful, and productive work environment. Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians across the state. Strong teamwork, information sharing, and collaboration skills. Special Requirements

Criminal records and driving records check must meet OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment. CJIS/FIPS/NIST and related security/privacy standards and other applicable laws and rules apply. Serve as a basis for making judicious assessments regarding privacy and security posture of networks, systems, and data. Working Conditions

Driving is an essential function; you must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel statewide. Work occurs in an open landscape environment with typical office settings, possible high-noise areas, and frequent interruptions.
