Application Support Manager

to manage and oversee the PeopleSoft application support for Consolidated Human Resources (CHRS) and Human Resources (HR) to include application planning, design, implementation, upgrade, and development. Responsibilities Work with technical and functional leads and functional and technical analysts to produce and prioritize deliverables to ensure quality and expectations for standards are met. Advise functional and technical leads on testing for all customizations, upgrades, and other releases. Oversee the development efforts with technical leads and other functional leads as necessary. Manage the support of 22 campuses and/or the CO with ongoing implementations and/or upgrades for PeopleSoft CHRS/HR application systems. The Application Support Manager will also undertake special projects or other technical duties as directed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience, plus course work in project management or administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems development and project management including experience with systems analysis, programming, and/or database management; comprehensive knowledge of project control techniques, including milestone and critical path scheduling, and; PeopleSoft application experience using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, and Process Scheduler and; PeopleSoft Human Resources, Campus Solutions, and Finance experience. The Application Support Manager must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong leadership skills; commitment-to-task. Must be a self-starter, with strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure, the ability to translate needs analysis data into formal designs, and strong organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal skills needed to work effectively with a wide variety of internal and external resources. Some travel required. Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree preferred. Knowledge of HR, CS, and FIN practices strongly preferred. Additional training in management and technical areas is a plus. Advanced skills in the use of information technology are highly desirable.
