Overview

Systems Administrator VI, Health Systems - Epic MyChart, EpicCare Link. Configuration and support of our electronic medical record system to support organizational Population Health goals. Tier 3 support for our medical record system, including incident support, ongoing maintenance, and investment projects. The team supports KP HealthConnect, specifically the Web & Mobile products of MyChart, MyChart bedside, Welcome, Haiku/Canto/Rover, and Affiliate Link/EpicCare Link. This role leads expert configuration of complex system builds, testing, validation, and ongoing production support of assigned applications. It requires clinical or IT systems knowledge to support safe and high-quality care using the electronic health record. The role involves analysis of application capabilities, workflows, data collection, report details, and other clinical/technical issues, and the design, development, and documentation of internal procedures for Epic applications. The position also liaises with end users, third parties, and Epic implementation staff and participates in the development and documentation of internal procedures and specifications for system enhancements and release functionality. Essential Responsibilities

Drives the execution of multiple work streams by identifying customer and operational needs; develops and updates procedures and policies; gains cross-functional support; translates business strategy into actionable requirements; allocates resources; sets standards and measures progress; removes obstacles; guides performance; develops contingency plans; solves highly complex issues; and influences project task completion by others. Models self-leadership, solicits and acts on performance feedback, builds cross-functional relationships, communicates to drive projects forward, adapts to competing demands, provides feedback to leadership, mentors and coaches team members, fosters open dialogue, and learns from change and feedback. Collaborates with technical and project leads to resolve complex system problems and provides consultation on design and architecture of technology environments across the enterprise. Escalates unresolved or critical issues to system engineers and management. Plans and performs complex system configuration with proactive analysis of environment configurations and resolves system and network integration issues. Plans maintenance, modification, and documentation of applications; recommends system or integration changes based on cost/benefit analyses. Creates complex documentation of new and existing system configurations and procedures, and ensures documentation is complete and accurate. Leads hardware and software changes across multiple IT production environments; performs impact analyses of system changes. Recommends and executes complex performance tuning and optimization activities. Evaluates existing technical resources to determine coverage of required skills and knowledge for ongoing business demands. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years experience with EPIC or comparable health system software OR minimum five (5) years scripting or programming experience. Preferred Qualifications

Five (5) years experience in EPIC administration and configuration. Five (5) years experience in the administration and configuration of large off-the-shelf applications or software packages. EPIC certification OR completion of an accredited EPIC Proficiency training program. Epic certifications and experience building in at least two of these applications: MyChart, MyChart Bedside, EpicCare Link, Haiku, Rover. Primary Location:

KPIT ADMIN - HC IS APP INTEGRATE - 9601 Pay Range:

$163,700 - $211,750 / year. Kaiser Permanente is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted pay range is based on possible base salaries for the role and does not include the value of our total rewards package.
