Security Professional - Government Site - Unarmed Patrol
in
Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a major government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout designated areas, remaining highly visible to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting access control procedures and assisting with badge verification as needed. You will also have the opportunity to utilize your experience with x-ray screening and other security-related processes. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon-Sun, 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM (shift times may vary by site) What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including indoor and outdoor areas, to deter unauthorized activities. Monitor entrances, exits, and perimeter areas and report suspicious activity. Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as necessary during incidents or emergencies. Assist with access control and visitor management processes as directed by site procedures. What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements
Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
