We are seeking a skilled
SharePoint Developer
with hands-on experience in
SharePoint 2016/2019
development. This is a
remote
opportunity for a driven individual who excels in modern development practices and has a passion for creating and maintaining scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications. Responsibilities
Design, develop, code, install, test, debug, and document web applications using .NET and SharePoint 2016/2019 development strategies. Customize and enhance new or existing SharePoint 2016/2019 solutions using
Visual Studio . Develop custom workflows, standalone web parts, and
Business Data Connectivity (BDC)
objects. Collaborate with content creators to establish and maintain policies and procedures for web content publishing. Conduct research into current and emerging web technologies to guide development strategies and ensure platform relevance. Develop, implement, and maintain various tools and applications. Ensure sufficient application and system-level controls and conduct
unit testing
prior to QA. Evaluate and recommend upgrades, patches, and new functionalities. Investigate and resolve defects, performing root cause analysis. Assist in defining test plans and scripts for
performance, regression, and user acceptance testing ; support QA activities as needed. Prepare both
High-Level Design (HLD)
and
Low-Level Design (LLD)
documentation. Required Qualifications
5+ years
of hands-on experience in .NET and SharePoint 2016/2019 development. Strong expertise in
C# ,
ASP.NET ,
JavaScript ,
Visual Studio ,
SharePoint Designer , and
PowerShell . Proficient in developing custom SharePoint components such as workflows, web parts, and BDC objects. Solid understanding of the
software development lifecycle (SDLC) , including design patterns, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Experience with
configuration management , version control systems, and documentation best practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a remote work environment. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with
SharePoint Online
or
Office 365
is a plus. Experience with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies. Work Environment
