Site Civil Senior Project Manager

Senior Civil Site Project Manager will lead and manage a team of engineers, planners, and design technicians on a variety of projects, including mixed-use and public-private partnerships. Proficiency in project management, infrastructure design, cost estimating, QA/QC, construction administration, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D is expected. Your Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead design for site development, water resources, and multi-disciplinary projects; work with Project Managers/Deputy Project Managers to initiate and execute projects from proposal to completion; achieve project success within work plans, schedules, and budgets; oversee design team and ensure quality and efficiency. Technical Expertise: Plan, layout, and refine construction/redevelopment sites; prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates; oversee stormwater management systems and green infrastructure; interface with regulators and secure project approvals; collaborate with design and field teams to ensure smooth construction; direct public bidding process and manage contractor relationships; ensure designs meet regulatory standards and best practices; bring innovative solutions to client communities; tailor deliverables to community needs. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, planners, and technicians; mentor less experienced staff; communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Advancement Opportunities: This position is/has a Principal level career-track; gain experience in diverse projects and advance within the organization; multiple paths for advancement include technical expertise, project management, team leadership, and client relations/business development. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio. Minimum 10–12 years of site/civil engineering/land development design experience with City of Columbus and Central Ohio communities. Design experience including site grading (ADA), water main, sanitary sewer, parking lots, site balancing, roads, pathways, and stormwater systems. Experience preparing construction documents (plans, specifications, bid documents, cost opinions). Ability to engage with governmental agencies on behalf of the client. AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency. Experience with Ohio regulators and/or ODOT specifications a plus. Strong collaboration with clients, staff, regulators, elected officials, contractors, and consultants. Benefits
