Salesforce Architect Location : Herndon, VA Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce solutions across our organization. The Salesforce Architect will serve as the technical authority for Salesforce platform capabilities, integrations, and best practices, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that align with business goals. The Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, Salesforce developers, testers, DevSecOps engineers, and enablement professionals to deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions that maximize value, enhance user experience, and drive digital transformation. Key Responsibilities: Define and own the technical architecture for Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Translate business requirements into robust system designs, integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and external systems. Provide guidance to development teams on coding standards, platform limitations, and solution design best practices. Ensure adherence to Salesforce security and compliance standards, working closely with DevSecOps engineers on CI/CD pipelines and governance. Collaborate with Salesforce testers to define test strategies, automation approaches, and quality metrics. Partner with enablement professionals to design solutions that drive adoption, usability, and business outcomes. Stay current with Salesforce releases, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, and advise leadership on opportunities for platform improvement. Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert troubleshooting and resolution. Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution roadmaps, and technical standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred). 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years as a Salesforce Solution/Technical Architect. Proven expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform capabilities. Strong background in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs. Experience with integration frameworks, middleware, and APIs (REST, SOAP, Mulesoft, etc.). Deep understanding of Salesforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, and release management. Familiarity with data modelling, security models, and large-scale system architecture.
