The SAP Supply Chain & Logistics Senior Engineer role supports the Deerfield Beach, Florida site by implementing and optimizing SHL Medical’s supply chain and logistics setup and by analyzing current processes and coordinating the implementation of integrated ERP solutions in SAP S/4HANA. Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance and collaborate with SAP module specialists across SHL locations (Taiwan, Europe, USA). Coordinate and, where appropriate, implement SAP projects focusing on supply chain and logistics modules – PP, QM, EWM, EAM, MM, and SD. Perform fit/gap analyses and design workshops to educate site stakeholders on standardized and global template processes and SAP capabilities; identify process improvements. Work with site and global BPOs to define blueprints, requirements, and use cases for globalization and localization. Design and document solution alternatives aligned with local requirements and global templates; collaborate with IT, developers, and business teams to build solutions. Develop functional specifications for configuration, customization, reports, integrations, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW); implement with the team or independently. Translate specifications to developers for any custom development needs; assist in translating requirements to test conditions and results for various testing types. Perform functional unit testing after development; take action to mitigate risks to data integrity and address deviations. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, logistics, manufacturing, or related field preferred. Minimum 7 years’ experience as an SAP specialist or business analyst. Strong knowledge of SAP logistics modules – PP, QM, EAM, EWM, MM, SD. Thorough knowledge of intralogistics material flow, quality, manufacturing, and CMO setup. Ability to identify and remedy potential problems proactively; adaptable in a fast-moving environment; strong collaboration skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities; effective communication with all stakeholder levels. Ability to document master data processes and procedures for all tasks. Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. We Offer
