Mission focused Cost-Effectiveness Analysis Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCC) Trade Studies (e.g., CAIV, BCAs) Design to Cost (DTC) Should Cost Cost Reduction Opportunities and Initiatives Cost Metrics Development Develop tradeoffs of requirements, design, performance, cost, and schedule to address affordability constraints. Possess foundational understanding of Systems Engineering concepts including stakeholder analysis, mission engineering, system architecture and design, system integration, trade studies, risk and opportunity management. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline AND 5 years of related professional or military experience OR Master of Science in a STEM discipline AND 3 years of related professional or military experience OR STEM Ph.D. AND 1 year of related professional or military experience Ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance and required program access within a reasonable period of time Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or certification in Systems Engineering Experience with cost-effectiveness, LCC, CAIV, DTC, and CRI analyses Experience in cost research models and cost risks analysis for complex aerospace systems Experience in cost estimating activities such as cost analysis, statistical analysis, WBS development, and cost risk analysis Experience with DoD Acquisition principles and guides (e.g., MIL-STD 881E, O&S CAPE Guide, DAU Guide on Systems Engineering) Working knowledge of cost parametric tools: ACEIT, SEER from Galorath, VBA and Unison TruePlanning Experience in Cost Data Analysis and Predictive Analytics; Tableau & Alteryx; programming languages such as Python, R, SQL Active Secret clearance (or higher) and ability to obtain program access Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00. Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and/or personal business.
