Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
Prioritizes the batches in the queue according to identified daily and weekly goals Validates the correct patient name, medical record number, account number, document type, and/or record section Reviews each electronic image within the batch to confirm image quality, appropriate order, and appropriate rotation Relocates electronic images that are incorrectly filed in another document. Relocates electronic images or documents that are incorrectly filed in encounter. Replaces electronic images that have unacceptable image quality or have been updated. Meets established quality and productivity goals Prepares batches for scanning and scans batches as needed Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

Education Required:
Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate. Technical School Certification in related field a plus
Experience Required:
Four years' experience in medical records or a healthcare position, experience with imaging function preferred

Lift from floor to waist 40 lbs., Push or pull carts weighing greater than 250 lbs.
