Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World. This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. You will work with a wide variety of people, locations, technologies and products to develop packaging solutions. Responsibilities
Lead and cultivate a high-performing global team. Support strategic NPI Commercialization projects and harness packaging insights and customer knowledge to provide innovative packaging designs. Develop and execute packaging development strategies by aligning with cross-functional internal teams and external partners. Identify and implement a packaging cost savings strategy to unlock end-to-end cost savings through fewer but more impactful projects. Foster and develop partnerships with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, R&D, Business Portfolio, Finance, Supply Chain Operations) to enable growth opportunities. Provide technical direction, guidance and coaching to team members and cross-functional stakeholders. Manage organizational ambiguity and complexity with resilience and clarity in challenging environments. Take ownership of outcomes with a bias for action, delivering results through collaboration and empowering team members. Create an inspired and agile team, prioritizing critical tasks that drive significant business impact through packaging innovations. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain or Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution. Two (2) years of leadership experience as a manager of people in private, public, government or military environments. Eight (8) years of Packaging Industry related experience in private, public, government or military environments. Additional qualifications
Experience in the Consumer Goods industry with knowledge of retailer packaging requirements. Strong understanding of business processes and ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive integrated solutions. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with track record in strategic planning to guide teams toward organizational goals. Desire to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement and growth. Effective communication and a global mindset for clear interactions across diverse teams and markets. Mentoring and coaching skills to develop team members. Agile leadership with ability to pivot quickly in response to change. Strong multi-tasking, follow-up, and prioritization skills. Work location
