Salesforce Quality Analyst (onsite) for a Hartford, Connecticut role. Client operates globally. Location: Hartford, Connecticut — fully onsite. Duration: Long term contract. Please share your resume to srinath.k@programmers.io. Responsibilities
Perform quality assurance and testing activities on Salesforce-related projects, including manual testing and verification of configurations and customizations. Validate Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, flows, page layouts, and other configurations. Execute test cases and, where applicable, contribute to test automation discussions using tools/frameworks like Selenium or Provar. Test integrations involving APIs, web services, and middleware to/from Salesforce. Participate in performance and security validation, including access permissions, roles, and profiles within Salesforce. Utilize test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and engage with CI/CD pipelines where relevant. Manipulate and validate data (imports/exports) and ensure data quality for testing scenarios. Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, interpreting requirements and reporting issues with attention to detail. Qualifications
Typically 3–7+ years in quality assurance / testing, with at least 1–2 years on Salesforce-related projects. Good understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization (objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, flows, page layouts, etc.). Experience with manual testing; familiarity with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, or similar) is often required or strongly preferred. Experience testing integrations (APIs, web services, middleware) to/from Salesforce. Some exposure to performance testing, security testing, and managing access permissions/roles/profiles within Salesforce. Experience using test case management tools and bug tracking (e.g., JIRA); exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Comfort with data manipulation and validation (data imports/exports, data quality). Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented with the ability to detect issues, anticipate failure points, and think critically. Certifications (advantageous): Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder; Salesforce-specific QA certifications; ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications. Seniority level
