We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Modeling/CAD Designer

with strong proficiency in AutoCAD to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on designing and modeling site layouts that incorporate temporary and mobile infrastructure, including soft-sided structures, trailers for restrooms, showers, kitchens, laundry facilities, and mobile command centers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for spatial planning, technical accuracy, and the ability to translate operational requirements into efficient, scalable site designs. This role will support our Sales and Marketing and Field Operations teams. Note this role is onsite in our Houston office at 13101 Almeda Drive, Houston, TX 77043. Responsibilities

Develop detailed site layout plans using AutoCAD for temporary and mobile infrastructure deployments. Design and model configurations for soft-sided structures and mobile units (restrooms, showers, kitchens, laundry, command centers). Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure designs meet functional and regulatory requirements for our clients. Create and maintain CAD libraries of standardized components and layouts. Conduct site analysis and integrate topographical, environmental, and logistical data into design plans. Revise and update drawings based on feedback, field conditions, and evolving project needs, in a fast-paced environment. Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and zoning standards in all designs. Prepare presentation-ready drawings and renderings for stakeholder review. Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D modeling). Strong understanding of site planning, spatial layout, and modular design principles. Experience designing mobile or temporary infrastructure is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and mechanical drawings. Familiarity with permitting and regulatory considerations for temporary structures. Excellent communication and collaboration skills working across our organization. Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Experience with other CAD tools (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, Civil 3D). Knowledge of emergency response, event planning, or military site deployments is a plus. CAD Certification. Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software.
